CATHERINE
CLINICAL DIRECTOR
Catherine is the clinical director at our Corby practice, and has been with Northlands Group since she qualified in 1996 – seeing many changes within the profession and the group in that time. She is a VetGDP advisor & a mentor to the new graduates as she believes supporting the next generation of vets is vital for their career development. She is the proud owner of Bryan – named by her son after his favourite actor in Baby’s Day Out – a rescued ginger cat who, unfortunately, is a prolific hunter. She also owns Lexi an energetic staffie who is a fun addition to the family. She enjoys all areas of veterinary practice both medical and surgical, and describes herself as a true general practitioner.

JACKIE
RECEPTIONIST
Jackie has worked as a receptionist at Northlands Corby since 2011, having previously worked in offices across a variety of different sectors, including 16 years in a vets in the north east. Her personal life is centred around a Tibetan Terrier, who is an absolute delight, but was a bit of a nightmare as a puppy! She has owned and shown sheepdogs for 30 years all over the country. Her other love is Formula 1, which I have travelled the world to follow.
-
PAULINE
RECEPTIONIST
Pauline has been with Northlands for just over 14 years and works in both our Corby branch and our hospital in Kettering. She has worked with pets since she was 16 – including roles in boarding kennels, a pet shop and a short stint as a dog warden – and has qualified with the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers. Although she doesn’t have any pets at the moment she has previously happily owned German shepherds, a springer spaniel and a cat.

She has completed an Animal Bereavement Councillor course and also runs our puppy socialisation classes. She has two lovely children and husband, and the small matter of several pets: 3 cats Harry, Ron and Hermione, two dogs, Cockapoo Lemur and Neo the Maltese, 5 guinea pigs, 3 mice, 3 African soft furred rats, fish, 3 snakes, a Bearded Dragon, a Leopard Gecko and several Tarantulas.

HARRIET
ANIMAL CARE ASSISTANT
Harriet has studied Animal Management Science and Welfare and has a love of all animals. She enjoys supporting her colleagues and caring for the animals. She has grown up with horses and crazy English Springer Spaniels. She has spent many mornings getting up at 4am milking the cows & feeding the calves. She loves the outdoors, walking, exercising, socialising with family and friends, cooking, travelling and has ran in many race for life charity events and also volunteered at the pink ribbon cancer walk which is a charity close to her heart. In the future she would love to progress to become a vet nurse.
